In an interview with Carolyn Johnson of NBC Los Angeles, Jay Rahimi, Esq. explains how laws governing checks are not consumer friendly, thus making it difficult for victims of check fraud to get their money back from banks.
Rahimi goes on to say that in cases involving checks, consumers are responsible for paying attorney fees rather than banks, and states, “Unfortunately a lot of these consumers aren’t in a position to go hire an expensive attorney to prosecute a case like this.”
